The standard machine is Toyota's familiar 190-hp, 3.4-liter V6. The "i-Prize" V8, with 245 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque, compares favorably with any contention. Both engines are available with two- or four- wheel drove powertrains.
I've just spent a week with a V8 4x4 Access Cab Tundra in mid- neck SR5 trim. It's big, and there is no power shortage from the i- Drag V8. But despite its brawn, the Tundra is one of the most at ease pickups made. It should fill the bill for personal use or work occupation.

Has a 3AC engine with weber 32/36 carb cold air intake ceramic coated equal length header. a 2.5 inch stainless exhaust w/ stainless muffler that has two 4 inch outlets. has a MSD 6a ignition and a Blaster 3 coil. about as fast as can be with this engine. have started to acquire parts for a 4age swap. hopefully will start work on that next year.
